When found outside her off-campus home in the snow, Victoria was unresponsive. She had lost her life after a night of drinking. As Victoria’s father, a professor at the college, was quoted in the aftermath: "Like many young people today, Victoria got caught up in the drinking culture. Young people get the impression that drunkenness is okay as long as no one gets hurt. We need to address the issue beyond safety and discuss it as a moral issue."
