Austin lost his life after leaving a night club in Madrid. A doorman suggested Austin rest a while before going in because he looked unwell. A friend told reporters that Austin and others had been drinking at an apartment before going out to the club. After leaving his friends at the club, Austin drowned in a nearby river.
