Reported that Kirsten Ross and her friend, Nancy Concepcion Gonzalez, 20,
died when the car Kirsten was driving collided with a firetruck en route to a fire.

Reported that Kirsten Ross of Roseville, age 20 and driver of the car had a blood-alcohol content of .06 percent,
according to police investigators. "For drivers between ages 18 and 21, the legal limit is .05 percent, said
Sacramento police Sgt. Matt Young. The legal limit for adults over 21 is .08
percent."
"Ross was driving through an intersection that showed a red blinking light
on her approach, investigators have said."
