Jeremy died when caused when the SUV in which Jeremy was traveling slid off the road and struck a tree at high speed. The vehicle suffered catastrophic damage, although the driver sustained only minor injuries. The driver was arrested when found to have a blood-alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit.
