Student dies from injuriesBy Brian Duggan and Jessica Estepa Article Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007 Reported that University of Nevada, Reno student Mike Pietrzak was declared brain dead after he fell down a flight of stairs in an off-campus house. According to police, Pietrzak was drinking alcohol before the Nevada-UNLV game and then went to the off-campus house where he continued to drink with five friends watching a football game on television. Police said that Mike's blood alcohol content was well above the legal limit.
