Reported that Florida Gulf Coast University freshman
Devin Lurain was found by his roommate unresponsive. Although the
roommate called 911, Devin was dead when paramedics arrived. Devin was the second freshman
casualty during the year. Mary Grace Taaffe, 18, died in an alcohol-related crash off-campus on Aug. 31.
